Muddin'

So we have had some problems with our neighbors parking their cars in front of our house (and I am not talking just in front but all over the front of our house to where they are blocking our driveway, and our driveway is huge) Anyway, I think that we have solved the problem!!

Shawn and Kode went out in the Bronco the other day and played in the mud. (Yuck his bronco was totally covered in mud and the wipers don't work so they could not see out of the front windshield very well) So when they got home Shawn pulled in the street and got out the pressure washer and went to town on cleaning off the Bronco. I could not believe how much mud was on the Bronco and I sure could not believe my eyes when he was done cleaning it and how much was left in the street.

(So back to my story about the solving the problem with the neighbors and their parking) Well Shawn decided that he did not want to clean up the muddy mess in the street from the bronco so he left it there. Well needless to say the neighbors don't want to park in front of our house anymore because of all of the mud. They don't want to get their cars dirty. (well if I would have known that was all it was going to take I would have had Shawn find lots of mud long before now. ha ha ha) (now don't get me wrong here we somewhat like our neighbors but their choice's in where they park is a little aggravating to us.)

Anyway, here is what the bronco looked like when those crazy muddin' boys got home!!

sorry you can't see how much mud there really was but it was a mess.

So a few days later Shawn noticed that the bronco was leaking something under neath it. Needless to say the rear main seal needs to be replaced. So for now its out of commission!

The Ultimate Fort

So I am finally back to blogging again! I have lots to blog about so here goes!!

So the boys have been asking for a while now if they could build the ultimate fort in the house. (well I really don't like it when they do this because they use every blanket in the house including some off of my bed and then when its time to clean it up they really don't want to clean because they are over the hole for thing) but I figured what the heck. (I did not realize that it was going to take up the hole living room but o'well they had a great time) Even the neighbors came over to play with them.

So here is to their Ultimate Fort!

Koda had one side of the fort and Bry had the other side

then Bry came up with this idea of having the UNO game as his door bell. So if you want to come over you need to ring the bell!

This is Koda's side of the fort!

Then Koda decided to get the trains out and play trains around his side of the fort

All in all the boys had a great time playing in their fort and much to my surprise they did a pretty good job of cleaning it all up. (I didn't even have to say much to them about making sure their things were put away where they go)

TiMe

As I was listening to the radio this weekend they motioned that we needed to change our clocks forward. It just seems like we changed them not long ago. Time is going by sooooo fast.
Although I really do like the day light savings time. It just seems like I get a lot more done through the day (or maybe its just because I know that the weather is changing for the better and I am not cooped up in the house anymore. I feel like I have freedom by being outside. On the other hand Monday is going to be a rough morning. I can see it already!)
Anyway, all I know is that I am so ready for spring to come. The winter blues are getting old and its time for them to move out!
