our last day

For our last day in Wyoming we decided to take the kids swimming. Across from where my mom lives there is a very nice rec center with an awesome indoor pool, with water slides and a lazy river. It was a fun way to spend the after noon!
The boys didn't want to play on the water slides but they sure enjoyed the lazy river!

Then just before we left town we stopped in Green River and had a bite to eat with Grandpa Jon.
It was nice to see him. He hasn't changed a bit!

All in all the boys and I had a great time visiting family. Its so nice to be able to hang with family especially since we don't get to see most of them very often!

Thanks to everyone for letting us come and stay with you for a few days. We enjoyed evey momnet of our stay!

Riverton

When we were in Wyoming we traveled to Riverton to see family and friends in a rodeo there. We had a great time hanging out on the ranch but I do know that we are deffently city people! Being out in the middle of know where is not for me. I enjoy being in the city. (The friends and family were awesome to us and I thank them for all they did for us. We reallly enjoyed ourselves) Here are some pictures of our time there!

While we were at the ranch Bry enjoyed riding this practice bull. He thought he was a real bull rider!

Kode loved diging in the dirt with their mini tractor! He says he is digging for gold!
The boys found this cup stacking game while we were there. This game was lots of fun. Its so challenging cause you have to stack the cups then unstack them while being timed.
First was Kode's turn
Then it was Bry's turn all while my mom was timing them!

Then after playing the cup game we made our way outside and learned how to lasso stuff!

Grandpa Rog taught the boys how to lasso the right way!
Awesome Job Kode!
Then Bry started to tease Grandpa Rog. Bry told him "you can't lasso me"
So Bry started running and Rog lassoed him. It was funny!

Bry wanted to ride a horse. So they saddled one up and let him ride around the ranch
(Kode had no interrest in riding the horse)

So we went to a kids rodeo there in Riverton. We had never been to a kids rodeo before and it was fun.
The owner of this horse had tied him to this railing and walked away. The horse began to cry so Bry flet bad for him so he walked down to the horse and started talking to him and petting his head to comfort him. It was pretty cute!

Just some of us watching from the stands!

The family that own's the ranch we were on have a mini bull. He really thinks he is tough but he really isn't. So the boys sat on him so that I could get a picture of them.

So after a busy day at the rodeo we went to the hotel and went swimming! It was a great way to end the day!

All in all we had a great time in Riverton. Thanks to Gus and family and Mom and Roger for such a fun weekend!

The Bike Park

So after we visited with some family in Salt Lake we made our way to Wyoming to see some more family! Our first stop in Wyoming was the bike park. The boys have been wanting to go to the bike park for a while now. So they couldn't wait to go! And while they rode I took a few pictures then I walked around the outside of the bike park for some much needed exercise!
Bry was a little unsure about the jumps but once he got warmed up he did great!

Kode was not scared at all. He rode on almost everything!

It was a very hot day! We sure needed lots of water!

Anyway, the boys had lots of fun at the bike park!

Playing with the cousins!

One of our adventures while we were in Salt Lake was seeing some of our family there.
(for some reason I didn't get hardly any pictures of any family members. I don't know what I was thinking but here is what I did take)

One of the days we went with the Lloyds to the park. On our way to the park we stopped and got some lunch and took it to the park for a picnic. The kids had a great time playing!
Bry and Isaac loved this tire swing!

 Bry being a monkey

Alex wanted a piggy back ride cause he was getting tired. Thanks Bry for your help!

I brought the boys bikes with us to Salt Lake so that the boys could ride them. So one of the days they rode them over to the church which is very close to the Lloyd's house.
(sorry no pictures of any of the other kidos. I am not sure why)

After they were done riding their bikes at the church we ventured back to the Lloyd's house where the kids made paper air planes, fun little books and all sorts of things with paper. Then they played in the yard!

Then after a fun day of playing with the Lloyd boys we were off to see Mimaw and Grumpy. Thanks Lloyd's for letting us play with u guys for a few days.

It was fun to be able to see the family.
(Sorry no pictures of the kids with Mimaw and Grumpy. Not sure what I was thinking.)

More to come about our little vacation!
