So i am kind of a neat/clean freak! I like things to look nice like my house, my car and stuff! Well I think a little of that has rubbed off on one of my boys and as for the other one well lets just say he needs lots of help in that department!!
The other morning I was getting ready for the day and Kode came into my room and told me he was going to make his bed every morning and he was going to keep his room clean. I was kind of surprised. So I asked him what has become of this and he said "I just want it to look nice mom" Well that's totally cool with me! So this is what his room usually looks like. He even vacuums it once a week!
Then here is his closet. Hes got lots of animals in his closet but for the most part its fairly organized.
(I think he is going to make his wife a very proud woman one day with his cleaning/organizing skills and his cooking is great!!)
Anyway, so I am sure you are not surprised about who is not such a clean and neat freak! Yea you guessed it! I have been telling him for the past 2 weeks if he doesn't get his room organized and cleaned up that I am going to come in there and clean it for him and he may not like it! Here are some before pictures! Oooh goodness brace yourself! Its messy!!
you can hardly see the floor or the dresser! I couldn't tell what was clean or dirty.
as for the closet you couldn't even get to it little alone get anything out of it!
and the dog is supposed to be able to get up the stairs on her own but there is so much garbage and crap in the way that she couldn't even get to them!
Bry had a night terror one night and I went into his room to see what was up and I stubbed my toe, stepped on something that hurt my foot for the rest of the day and I just about broke my back just trying to get into his room. It was time for the mom to go in and CLEAN that mess!!
and that is exactly what I did! It took me about 3 hours. I loaded up several garbage bags full of junk, garbage and stuff got rid of it! I really should have done that a long time ago! He came in a few times while I was cleaning and told me not to throw anything valuable away of his. I told him he should have done this a long time ago. If it was broken it was gone, if it was missing pieces it was gone. I cleaned it good!!
So this is what it looks like now! I was finally able to get a vacuum in there and vacuum the floors. I am pretty sure its been a while since that has happened! Now I just have to make sure he keeps it clean! Hhhhmmmmm this may be a challenge!!
and now the dog can finally make her way to the bed by herself with out any help cause she can find the stairs now! Its amazing how that works!!
Anyway something else that I was able to check off of my to do list!
