For Shawn's birthday he wanted to go riding and camping one last time. So, we decided to meet up with some of his family at the Knolls. It was a great time, but man it was sure windy!! (I think that we came home with several pounds of sand in our cab-over.)
(this is a picture of life flight landing right in front of us sorry it was dark and I had a hard time taking pictures in the dark) Anyway, the story is that we saw an ambulance get on the interstate when we were just heading into Wendover. We did not think much of it. So when we got off of the interstate to go to the knolls there was the ambulance blocking the road. An EMT came over and asked us to stay back several yards so that life flight could land behind them. They were going to transport their patient via life flight. So we did what we were asked. It was pretty cool to see the helicopter that close. (we always hear it go over our house but we have never seen it that close up before) Anyway after that we were on our way to find a camping spot for the night!
Then off for lots of fun riding in the sand!
