So we decided to take a break from Disneyland and go to the beach. Yep New Port Beach is where we went! It was a little chilly and the wind was blowing but that didn't stop us from having a great time playing in the sand and water. The kids just loved it!
Mimaw and Grumpy rented a 15 passenger van which Grumpy drove and Jeff was the co-pilot. Some of us rode in the van and some of the family rode in Trav and Mandi's car! Either way we all made it to the beach!! This is some of us who rode in the van!
New Port Beach was a beautiful beach. There was hardly anyone there and the water was beautiful.

Everyone was asked not to get wet, muddy, or dirty until Mandi could to take some pictures of all of us. Well that went over well with the kids. It was like telling them not to eat the candy held right in front of them. So needless to say the kids were a little wet, muddy and dirty but the pictures (I think) turned out great! (I will post them later) But everyone was loving the beach!
Kode wanted to build a castle and then a driveway to where the water could reach the entrance of his castle. That was his mission while we were at the beach!

The family pictures were taken and then the street cloths were off and the swim suits were on and the kids were out playing in the water in no time!
Hannah and Bry could hardly stand it. They were so excited to be able to just play in the water. They wanted to see how far they could go out before the first wave met up with them!

At first Kode was not into putting on his swim suit but after watching the other kids having so much fun he decided that he wanted to. He had a great time!

All and all everyone enjoyed themselves at the beach! It was so relaxing and the sun was so nice to be in. Most of us left with a sun burn!
