Our next adventure was to take the kids and go swimming at Bear Lake! Its a tradition every time we go to Idaho! Its a nice way to cool off and clean up somewhat! (since its very hard to take a shower in the cab-over) The weather was great and the water was nice!
Before we went on vacation I purchased some sand toys so that the kids could play in the sand with them. They were a huge hit. The kids were making their own mini river
(Kode, Jordan, Lora, and Hannah)
Ooh Bry was a hoot! He really wanted to wear these flippers. He had a heck of a time getting them on
then watching him walk in them was funny
he finally gave up and took them off on the beach then walked out into the water where he put them on and gave them a try! he didn't last long in the water with them. he said they were to hard to control
Lora taking the tube out to float around!
Rachael and Rebecca relaxing and enjoying each others company!
Mac showing Bry how to use the goggles, flippers and the snorkel!
Mac coming in from snorkeling. He had a great time doing that!
Mac and I
Bry and Skyler! They became good buddies throughout our trip!
Sammy enjoying the beach
Kode and Isaac enjoying playing in the sand
Isaac and Hannah building a sand castle
Bry and Mac taking a break for some lunch!
Sammy
Kode and Bennett having a splashing fight against each other! They were trying to see who got who wet the most. It didn't matter who got in the way. They would get just as wet!
They had so much fun!
Hannah enjoying the water!
After spending the afternoon at the beach we stopped at The Bear Cave for some shakes. Raspberry shakes is what they are known for. So Mac and I got one and shared it. It was so gooooood!! This is another tradition that we have.
Kode and Bry wanted cookie dough!
Isaac, Rachael, and Jordan all shared a shake!
It was a great way to end the afternoon at the beach!
Then it was time to get back up to camp! It was time to make some dinner!
Mac's speciality for the night was jalapeno poppers!
(there was much more things to eat than that. That was just what Mac wanted to make for an appetiser)
More to come on our Camping Adventure!!
