After a good nights rest we woke up to a family member installing a zip line for the kids to enjoy! This was a huge hit with all of them! He had the children help him find the perfect spot to hang the line from. Then he had them pick out the perfect trees. He made it so much fun for them. Then it was time for them to give it a try!
Of course Bry was very eager to be the first one to try! He loved it!
He said bringing it back was not as much fun as riding it down!
But he managed!
Once the word went around that their was a zip line all of the kids in camp were waiting their turn in line to ride it! Their had to be an adult at the beginning to help the kids get on it so Mac volunteered himself for a while!
After waiting his turn in line it was Kode's turn to ride it!
I think he said he rode it at least 20 times!
We didn't see much of the kids around camp.
We all just knew that they were up riding the zip line!
My favorite part of camping is all the good food! You never go away from a meal feeling hungry. There is always so much food to eat!
This particular night Mac cooked ham fried rice. It was a huge hit with everyone!
This is what it looked like when he finished it up!
After dinner it was time to gather fire wood to get our fire started.
(I was shocked that we were allowed to have a fire since it has been so dry but the ranger said it was OK)
Each year Dave brings his guitar and we all gather around the fire and sing. Its so much fun!

Mac and Dave did a great job of gathering fire wood and lightning us a nice large fire!
Aunt Pam and her granddaughter Savannah enjoying the camp fire!
More of the extended family gathered around the campfire. We added up how many family members were at the reunion this year and we figured there were about 65 people. So we had a pretty good turn out!
